A slow start but it gradually sunk it's claws in, now I can't wait to move onto the next book! I loved getting to know Celaena ❤️ I can already feel it's going to be an emotional roller coaster and I'm excited for the ride 🥹

First few books were adventurous and great. The last book, The MFC became annoying. She fell in love and her personality changed. She whined At times and was difficult at other times. I’m sure once I read the other books, I’ll get more info to help me understand better.

Read it third (mainly because I thought Throne of Glass was first) and other readers seemed to like reading it after the first two books. I wish I read it as a prequel because it made me connect so much more with Caleana, and dislike Chaol even more. Such a good read, my favorite of the first three.

Writing this review after finishing the series - I liked all the stories but, at the time, didn't understand why they were important. It is clever how she weaves them back into the overall story in the final books!
