This book is technically written for young readers but everyone will love Dion and Gobi’s heart warming tale. Dion, an ultra marathon runner found this sweet little furball while doing an ultra in China. They were meant to be together. If you love dogs, read it!

I got to meet the author and the dog when I got the book and honestly Gobi was the cutest.

I had such high expectations for this book but was really disappointed. It was more about the author than about the dog. I didn't feel like I got to know the dog or his personality at all. Maybe if I had followed the story when it happened I might have felt different. But would have liked more about the dog.

I actually didn't realize that this was a put for young readers when I put the audiobook version on hold. I liked it anyhow! A very quick listen. I'd recommend this to older kids.

A sweet and heartwarming book that can appeal to both adult and children.
I loved it and fell in love with Gobi.
Highly recommended!
