CloudStorm by Susana Mohel is an enemies to lovers romance. This is the second book in The Perfect Storm Series. I just love Susana's books! I really enjoyed getting Ariel's story. I cannot wait until I get my hands on the third book in the series ThunderStorm will be released in March 2020.

Years ago Ariel went to the bank to get a loan to start a bakery. However, the man she met with, Lancelot, accused her of being a fraud and denied her application. Fast forward to the present and Ariel gets a new hot neighbor who is none other than Lancelot. Now that they are neighbors can they get over the past and move forward in a civil manner?
Ariel grew up in a very strict community and was to meet the man she was supposed to marry when she was 14 years old. Her brothers helped her escape but that left her living on the streets and taking every little job that she could in order to try and make her brothers proud even though she will never see them again.
Lancelot lost his father and had to take over as the caregiver for his siblings. This has caused him to become arrogant and full of himself.
Overall I found this book to be enjoyable. At first I was confused about the relevance of the emails at the end of the chapters but by chapter 7 you started to get a glimpse of how they fit into the story. Reading about Ariel’s background and everything she went through really touched my heart and I’m glad that she got her HEA.

I devoured this book just like I would devour one of Ariel's cupcakes! Lance and Ariel’s story was heartwarming and so full of sugary goodness.

Ariel Wilkinson is the GOAL DIGGER that every heroine inspires to be. She is independent strong with a little bit of flair (okay a LOT of flair). Ariel isn't looking for a man to be her knight and shining armor; she really isn't looking for a man at all. But it's the one Ariel hates to love Lancelot Hills that will become the partner that stands by her side and cheers her on when Ariel's highest goal is within reach. Plus sometimes the heroine has to save the knight when he is in need too.

Susana, with every book you write you have me impatiently waiting for the next one. I can't wait to see which characters you will introduce me too in the next Perfect Storm.
