Ikigai: The Japanese Secret to a Long and Happy Life by Francesc Miralles, Héctor García Puigcerver

A tad disappointed, I was expecting more from this book but seemed lacking. A good concept but the excecution left a little to be desired. Not much added from the authors beyond outlining ideas and quoting the likes of Seneca, Albert Einstein.
The only plus for me is a new (to me) concept of logotherapy and an interest in pursuing some exercise like Yoga.
2/5
A quick read but not life changing.

This book was extremely useful for me given the time of life I'm in. I needed to step back and truly reflect again on the original purpose and passion that I was born with and have always carried in my life. I got distracted by salary, job titles, and the things that often adults hold on to. But this book helped me to reflect on what's really important and I am now committed to only looking for roles and opportunities that align with my purpose and my passion. I recommend getting the workbook that goes along with this book as well.
