I'd read excerpts of this before but it was well worth it to sit and read the entire book. Kwaymullina has a wonderfully beautiful way of expressing Indigenous sovereignty and the decolonisation of so-called Australia.

An extraordinary manifesto and practical guidebook to living on unceded First Nations land. Should be compulsory reading for every non-Indig Australian. Grateful. Thanks, Magabala Books.

We are Living On Stolen Land.
If we are to make any movement towards healing the trauma inflicted upon First Nations people (that is still being inflicted), we must first be silent and listen without preconceived ideas. This is only the beginning.

Ambelin Kwaymullina has written a clear and consise call/guide to action. I cannot recommend it highly enough to anyone who wishes to decolonise Australia and work (for it will require work on the part of us - the Settlers) towards a time that is built on respect, equality and care for country.
