This made me think about all the ordinary people who became heroes during the world’s darkest time and what strength they possessed in order to help others despite the lethal consequences.
It was definitely good, but I'd give it 4 not 5 and here's why:
1. The first half was a bit too long and slow,
2. It was difficult to differentiate the supporting chats. Had a hard time knowing who the other people were, like Michlin and Henri. She wanted us to feel something when they popped back up but I did not know exactly who they were
3. First 50% was a 3 and second 50% was a 5!
4. Certainly worth a read.
The Women was better but I certainly appreciated learning this side of the war that isn’t well known. Sad but true.
