This could have been so much better. The short at the end should have been first. It would have set up the story to come. This was not a story you could just pick up and read. You needed to know the history of how he got there. That should have been told in a linear story as opposed to the flash backs and flash forwardso they used. It's a shame the series ended after 5 issues because it was becoming a story with great potential.

This was barely OK. The few moments with Kev Walker and the covers were the highlight of this series. Though I've liked Dane as a member of the Avengers and MI:13, I would have preferred a more interesting take on his issues with the Ebony Blade and on Weirdworld.

Since Dane is gonna be one of the leads in next year's Eternals film, I hope Marvel gives him another try in a solo book, but with better results (maybe put someone more accomplished in mixing fantasy and superheroics like Jim Zub).
