This book is messy in the most addictive and stupid way.
It’s probably not the best written book but I was hooked and it was a very easy read. I’m a firm believer that romance books don’t need to be this long but I couldn’t put it down so it really flew by.
I will be picking up book 2 because I need more drama.

I loved everything about this book. The family drama, the cons, and don’t even get me started on the romance. Rocky is the perfect man. Read immediately!

✨What it is about:
Phoebe Graves wants a fresh start after a life of cons, but escaping her past isn’t easy, especially with Rocky, her best friend’s reckless brother, tagging along. As old feelings resurface, Phoebe must decide if a new life and love is worth risking it all.✨
💭My thoughts:
The premise was one I don’t think I’ve ever read before: con artists trying to escape the con life. I was pleasantly surprised by the depth of the story and the different subplots that enriched it. I was invested from the beginning, and as more of Phoebe’s, Hailey’s, and Rocky’s lives were revealed, I became even more interested in the details of how they all came to be.
Their upbringing was far from ideal, and their parents were so dysfunctional that I needed to know more. The Graves and Tinrock families are super shady, and the timeline shifts helped reveal their shenanigans through the years. Those were relatively easy to follow, and once I was caught up to the present, I had to know how everything would play out.
Would Phoebe and Hailey succeed in leaving the con life? Would Phoebe and Rocky keep fighting their feelings, or would they finally follow through in their efforts to break free from their parents’ ways and be together? Would the parents let them go, or was this just a temporary break before they intervened again?
The story ends on a bit of a cliffhanger, and I immediately rushed to read the next book. Full review of that to come soon. Very entertaining—I was engaged the whole time, and I can’t wait to see what truths the characters uncover next, and where Phoebe and Rocky’s relationship goes.

I started this book some days ago and was really skeptical because I read the Addicted/Calloway series and LOVED it but did not really like the Like us Series. So when this book came out in august and I did not want to read it. But believe me when I say that this book was sooooo good. In the beginning I was like “where is this going?” But it got better and better. I love the characters and the stories. It was sooo good. I was so invested. CANT WAIT FOR THE NEXT BOOKS!!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.25
