3.5 rounded up. Solid horror comic. It felt like the story being told was bigger than the 6 issues the creators were trying to tell it in. The atmosphere and vibe of this book was just great. While the ending was pretty predictable the black magic we got throughout the book was v good.

This ended up being a really cool, concise occult horror story. Not sure how it doesn't have more attention. The narrator is interesting and they weaved them into the story well. Things aren't laid out and explained, but there's enough to go off of and I like the bit of mystery.

The art is great, and the characters are all flawed in a good way, though a bit on the cliché side. The witch is an interesting foil, and the ending was pretty perfect (if a tad predictable).

I'm always pretty meh on psych hospital scenes because they're never done well or accurately, but they managed to explain away the inaccuracies in this.

The visuals were great, but there was a severe lack of coherency for the story. I wish I knew more, but by the end of the book, I only feel confused about why I should care about these characters or understand their motives.

I found this book okay. The artwork was good and I liked the horror elements but something was missing for me

While the narration style isn't my favorite it did grow on me and overall the story twisted and worked very well together. I would've preferred to know more about "the voice" but overall I think it was an enjoyable story.

Twisty, dark, tragic tale of revenge. Reminded me of Pumpkinhead (but with teens as the protags). Doesn't really explain much, but its witchy/monster vibes were great.
