3.0

Phil and Millie start out as next door neighbors. Phil develops a relationship with Millie and her brothers. There is an ok sense of chemistry between Phil and Millie, but nothing exciting or anything.

To be perfectly honest, I don't know if I missed it, or if the physical descriptions of all the characters were limited to generalities. I could not begin to tell you what Phil, Millie, Mitch, Kelli, Mike, or Linda looked like. Or anyone else for that matter. The book was more focused on domestic discipline and the things the ladies did that their significant others did not approve of them doing.

Even one of the scenes that should have generated some tension, some suspense, was just blah. Not a lot of emotion felt from this story, even if the words happened to indicate emotion. To top it off, I felt the book ended rather abruptly. Once again, maybe it was just me. This wasn't a terrible book, it was kind of blah. Almost like the entire book was in monotone, or if it was a color, it would be beige. Take a chance and read it. It may give you a completely different feeling.
