The information in this book is probably not best shared via book. Workshops seems much better, the book has a good premise but a lot of fluff and really requires feedback on a lot of principles.
Had an odd underlying christian atmosphere I didnt love.

The 12 Week Year replaces the annual goal setting and planning system with the 12-week system the author created. The author argues that there is no urgency with the annual goal setting and planning because the deadline is so far into the future. Instead, he suggests you break down your goals and plans into a series of 12 weeks. Doing so creates more urgency and intensity to achieve the goals. The point is by concentrating your efforts on fewer goals each quarter rather than many goals over the course of a year, you are focused more and therefore will accomplish more and faster. It also teaches you how to improve execution by having visions and connecting them to your monthly, weekly, and daily actions and how to be accountable by reviewing your plan and scoring your actions against your plan. The book is about goal setting, planning, and executing the plan to achieve your goals, but it focuses more on the execution. I found the idea helpful and started implementing the system, but the book needs serious editing. It was too repetitive.

For pages as few as this, I hope they just go right to the point. Chapter 17 is okayish for me, other chapters are just smoke screens.

More Hustle Culture grindset vibes than anything actually worthwhile. Definitely feels like its written by the C-Suite to get their workers to do the impossible. Unhealthy advice inside.
