So fun to read. I love the natural aspects and the detailed environmental descriptions. The author did a wonderful job drawing out the suspense and making the ending as satisfying as possible.

my favourite bits of this were when she was talking about the marsh and not about any of the other characters. first half was pretty good but got boring like it dragged especially that court case oh my days bruh so dragged

I don’t read a lot of mystery and suspense books, but this one made it to my tbr mainly because of its film adaptation.

The characters are realistic- or at least, I could see them in my mind based on how they are described.

I also like the plot and the plot twist!
