This is easily one of my top books this year. Sophie always fills her books with action, twists, and romance, but this one went above and beyond. I am so sad to only have 1 kingmakers book left because this has easily become my all time fave series.

This was such an intense read. Truly captivating. I couldn't put it down and I felt all the emotions.
I enjoyed the various POVs which helped to add depth to the overall happenings of this storyline. And I loved how there were updates on all the couples of the previous books at the end, as well as some side characters and a spoiler for the couple in the final book of the series.
I definitely see myself re-reading this book.

I knew by the time I got to this book, I probably wouldn’t be able to finish the last book. And that was true. The fifth book of this series is the only one I DNFed. After four books of sex scenes and a loose, nothing plot around these scenes, I couldn’t anymore. Even the sec scenes felt gross and non-emotional even though it seemed the author intended them to be.
It was an amazing way to wrap up the series i wouldnt want it any other way, the family reunion, the previous secrets surfaced everything was on the table and anything not cleared in the previous books was cleared out.
I loved the couple so much it blew me away Sophie is a Godess she knows what she writes and she captivates you
Nix & the spy were so real and mesmerizing i would die for them.
