I only read Alpha and Omega, and after already reading the first two books in the series, it was insightful to read how Charles and Anna met. Very good short story.
Little novella before starting Cry Wolf! This book is technically an anthology, but I only read the story for Alpha & Omega series. I like it!!
The three stories in this book are the introductory chapters to longer books. As a result, I like the stories more than I normally like short stories.
I read it for the Briggs story which was really wonderful and I highly recommend it. The others are also good, worth a read for sure.

4-stars only because if she hadn't continued Anna and Charles' story, I'd be one unhappy camper.
I'm a big fan of the Mercedes Thompson series and this was an added bonus. I love the way we got to see more of Charles and can't wait to see how his story unfolds with Anna.
Patricia Briggs' Alpha & Omega is sort of Mercy Thompson 3 as well as Alpha & Omega 1. The events in this book occur after the first MT book.
Karen Chance's Buying Trouble occurs after Midnight's Daughter.
Sunny's Mona Lisa Betwining is from her Monere series and should fit between the fight with Mona Louisa and when Dontaine becomes Mona Lisa's lover.
Eileen Wilks' Inhuman was excellent (World of the Lupi 3; although I think this is 2 as it is concurrent although not well-meshed with #1).
Rule & Lily meet over a crime and he wants her, meets her grandmother at her sister’s wedding rehearsal dinner

Definitely felt like the first couple of chapters of Cry Wolf.
Alpha & Omega #0.5 - A must-read for this series, as the first book doesn't make a lot of sense without this intro, which is a ... weird choice. Nevertheless, a good read.
World of the Lupi #3.5 - I read this after reading Lupi #4, and it was great to fill in Kai and Nathan's stories, as they were sort of... main characters that popped up out of nowhere. But this is a great short story, well worth a read.

I'd really like to give this book a better rating, and if it had ended after the first three stories I would have, but the last story by Sunny was terrible.
It's as if she's taken the most ridiculous elements from Laurell K. Hamilton's 'Merry Gentry' and 'Anita Blake' series', and Anne Bishop's 'Black Jewel's' series, and smooshed them together into one short trainwreck of a crossover fanfic. Then just changed a few details in order to make it seem original. Just one more 50 Shades wannabe, and honestly... why would you want to be?!

my review is only for Alpha & Omega.
I recently finished the Mercy Thompson series and got this book specifically to start Alpha & Omega. I really enjoyed the story and thought it was great to learn more about Charles. Im only a few chapters into Cry Wolf, but I can tell I will enjoy this series as much as Mercy.
After I finish the series I may come back and read the other stories in this book
