If you ever want really poetic, Joyce-esque prose that's wildly self-critical and almost disgustingly pretentious at times, read this! It was actually weirdly enjoyable and sort of heartening in terms of thinking of poetry as political and still useful in our current world. The most interesting part for me was the medicalization of all that ails our society, like all our sociopolitical dilemmas became epidemics on the bodies of the writers at some point in this text. Really cool... and gross.
