Really intense read that dives into grief, complicated family dynamics, and generational trauma. Felt extremely realistic. Don't think I could re-read this one

I really liked this book. The pacing is slower than some other books I've read recently and loved, but I like the way it unfolded and found it very hard to put down. I liked that every character was flawed, and it was very clear how, but you as the reader didn't feel like you needed to berate them.

Honestly there are few flaws with this book. It's the kind of book you could analyze over and over again. Fantastic.

I wish we had more of Hannah's thoughts

This was a good read. The writing is beautiful. The similes and metaphors are vivid and really add to the book.

I loved how EVERY character was developed and had a whole personality .

This book really had me in my feels. I really hated how every single character was treated, but that’s life. It really helped build the story and explain why each character felt the things they did

I loved this line. No spoiler, just some imagery.
for a moment she thought that the moon had actually hit the tree
