So this was my second Agatha Christie book and I really did enjoy it. It was a quick and enjoyable mystery where I once again wasn't 100% sure on who committed the murder. As this book (at least my edition) was only 188 pages, it was obviously a lot faster paced from the beginning compared to the Death on the Nile and that is something I really appreciated with this book as we were thrown directly into the mystery.

I enjoyed the easy read... not Agatha’s best but a nice mystery for winter reading.

Christie found a really interesting way of incorporating the nursery rhyme into the mystery even if it was slightly contrived. This isn’t my favourite Marple but the mystery is still compelling and the cast of characters are really interesting.
