I have tried to like this author's books, but there is just something about them. I think this book was too over the top and too predictable. None of the characters were likeable, and Anna was stupidly dense. I could not really get into this book from the beginning, and about 40% of the way through I decided I didn't care what happened to anyone!

Really enjoyed this fast-paced crime novel that takes place at a rundown motel turned apartment complex. This book centers on a resident’s death and his wife who is seeking answers. Between the mystery and the nutty cast of characters this was a ride I didn’t want to get off of! Loved it!

This was a really entertaining thriller with plot twists and reveals that I never suspected. Immediately after finishing reading this I wanted to rate it a five stars but after sitting with the story I think four stars makes more sense. The last chapters before the epilogue were insanely good and the author is unrelenting with shocking her readers. This book was short and really fun to read. Some of the actions of these characters were not very serious though like at all and you really have to just go with it just to enjoy the story. Casa and Annie were great POVs with very questionable actions for different reasons, but throughout the story I enjoyed reading from them. A really great thriller and this author is becoming a very reliable and I know when I pick up a book from her she’s going to deliver.
I loved this. A tale of unlikely friendships and women saving eachother in the midst of their own personal tragedies.
