I enjoyed this very much, not just the love story, but also the sub plot. Priest is a delightfully awkward incubus, full of longing, but also self doubt. Terrified that he will hurt the object of his desire. Oliver is determined to get what he wants. Together they face explosions, kidnappings and supernatural awakenings whilst trying to navigate their new relationship.

I really enjoyed this one! Priest and Oliver were so sweet and I loved that they were both pining messes for the other. I also kind of loved that neither of them had any chill after Oliver got hurt and went from 0 to 100 in a matter of pages. They were so much fun, even if I thought their book was paced super fast. There were definitely parts of this story that I wish had a bit more time and detail, like them staying with the dragon hoard (who I would love to see a book or novella about!) and the lab raid. Otherwise this was really good and I loved the extra world building and plotting for the next one. I’m giving this a solid four stars and I can’t wait for Knight’s book!

Very fun!! Didn’t write this review until a month after finishing the book and still remembered a decent amount, which is telling of how fun it was! Oliver was darling and Priest was a gem.

I struggled with this book. Mostly because I read the first so long ago and it referenced it lots and I couldn’t remember really what had happened in book 1! So they do need to be read close together I think

Priest

Fated mates, magical mysteries, nefarious plots, and a too-cute-for-non-magical-words couple. Oliver and Priest should really be on DWTS because not only did they dance their around each other, but they spectacularly danced their way into my heart.

“You can have me whenever you want, however you want, anytime you need.”

Purr, indeed. I can’t resist the pull of possessive love, and Priest and his little human are too delicious. From the amazing found family bonds to the way love sparks in ways we are only getting the most addictive hints of, I am loving the Trident Agency world, and can’t wait to bite into more!

I have been waiting for Priest for so long, and these two kept teasing me with all their cute graphics and teaser posts! Don't worry, it does not disappoint and I really enjoyed reading about these two and the rest of Trident Security and gang!

I absolutely loved how adorably awkward Priest was, especially around Oliver. These two were just perfection and how they somehow kept getting dancing around each other but never fully giving in and going for it?! UGH. The TENSION?

With Priest being an incubus, you know there's going to be some massive spice but holy I wasn't expecting the PAIN, especially when Oliver's bookstore is attacked and his best friend goes missing.
