It was ridiculously cheesy filled with instalove & spice. What’s not to love?!

This collection of novellas is sweet & spicy

Perfect holiday spice. I loved the characters and the cooking competition setting. I absolutely love a book with a chef main character.

DNF: not because it’s bad, I’m just mad at the false advertising of the cover. You put a silver fox on the cover, and then he turns out to be 45??? I’m lowkey mad

I love S.J. Tilly's books so much; they are always sweet and have the best MMCs ever. The spice never disappoints, and this book is exactly why I keep reading anything by this author.

Baby Cakes is the cutest holiday story, combining the three novellas in the Bite Series. The FMC, Alice, is a contestant in a live baking competition, and Michael is one of the judges and Alice's biggest crush.

The love/lust is immediate, and the chemistry between the main characters is impressive. If you are in need of a beautiful (very spicy), cutesy Christmas story, I recommend this one because you are going to fall in love with it completely.

I was so lucky to be chosen as an ARC reader, and I'll be forever grateful. Thank you, Valentine PR and S.J. Tilly, for this opportunity.

I wanted to love this so much more than I did. I love SJ Tilly, and her stories are usually some of my favorites. But this one missed the mark for me. The characters were underdeveloped, especially when compared to her other books and the instalove tropes are not my favorites.

Tropes: forbidden/workplace romance, obsessive/possessive mmc and fmc, instalust/instalove

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
