Diving In is the type of book that draws you in, tug on your feels, and leave you wanting more.

From the start, Georgia “G” Windsor shows you she’s no wilting wallflower who needs no man. But is it that bad to have a partner to lean on when life comes at you? Enter Cal. My word. It started with a backwards cap and was sealed with a Jeep: Callahan Thomas is my new book boyfriend.

Yes, Diving In is a romance and a damn good romance at that, but it’s so much more. Finding yourself, grief, coming home, conquering your fear… Miller nails it all in her debut novel.

Recommend if you’re looking for a moving story about loss and coming out on the other side. The writing brings depth and emotion. Not to mention Cal Thomas: brother’s best friend who falls first.

Diving In by Bianca Miller

As a local KC author, I just had to read Bianca’s debut novel. Diving In follows Georgia Windsor as she’s forced to relive her past and come to terms with her father’s recent death. After receiving a call that she needs to go back home to handle a few things for her late father, she finds herself booking a flight to Sullivan’s Island, a place she swore she would never return to. From the moment Georgia steps foot on Sullivan’s Island, she continuously is challenged to remember the positives about her old home and work through her grief. The only saving grace that Georgia has is running into Callahan Thomas, her late brother’s childhood best friend. Having had a crush on Cal growing up, she is transported right back into those feelings and it seems that Cal is ready to reciprocate them. This book takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions from joy and nostalgia to grief and anxiety. Bianca Miller’s debut novel was a good summer read and I look forward to her next one!

"Diving In" by Bianca Miller marks the author's debut novel, and what a stunning debut it is! From start to finish, this book takes readers on an emotional rollercoaster, weaving together humor, sadness, love, and, of course, plenty of lust.

Set against the backdrop of a small beach town, the story follows Georgia Windsor, a woman who has meticulously planned every aspect of her life. But when news of her estranged father's death forces her to return to Sullivan's Island, Georgia's carefully constructed world is turned upside down.

What follows is a heartfelt journey of loss, self-discovery, and one epic love story that will have readers ready to dive right in. With themes of second chances, found family, and the slow burn of unexpected romance, this book is sure to tug at the heartstrings.

Miller's writing is both poignant and captivating, drawing readers into Georgia's world and keeping them hooked until the very end. From the charming beach town setting to the swoon-worthy romance with surfer boy Callahan Thomas, every detail feels authentic and engaging.
