The book follows Georgia as she learns of her father’s death and is forced to go back to Sullivan’s Island, a place she swore she wouldn’t return to after leaving when she was a teenager. She gives herself 3 days to wrap up lose ends and get back to her life, but the island (and the people on it) have a strange way of making her feel like her life needs a change. Not to mention, Callahan Thomas is doing his best to remind her of all the island has to offer.
This book had me emotionally wrecked in the absolute best way and took me by complete surprise. Georgia finds herself on a journey to rediscover who she is, all while learning how to process her grief. The way Miller writes about Georgia’s feelings and her struggles hit way closer to home than I anticipated. So much so, that I was constantly tearing up because of the emotions involved. And Callahan? He may be a top five book boyfriend. The way he supported Georgia throughout and helped her process as she needed was inspiring. I truly cannot say enough good things about this book and I am in awe that this is Miller’s first book. If you need a book that will move you while also giving you some much needed summer beach vibes, be sure to read Georgia and Callahan’s story!

A sweet story with an even sweeter ending!! Following Georgia on her journey through heartbreak, grief, and forgiveness was beautiful. Reading about how Cal & Georgia’s relationship blossomed was swoon-worthy. The final letter Georgia received from her dad made me so emotional. 🥺 And now… I find myself wanting to 1. Go to the beach but 2. , and more importantly , I find myself wanting to challenge myself, try new things, and conquer my fears. I also would absolutely love to try one of Georgia’s lemon poppy seed scones… 😋🫶🏼♥️

thank you, Bianca, for this arc in exchange for an honest review 🤩
For a debut romance novel, this was a tear jerker. I absolutely fell in love.
the romance side of things felt like a subplot, and I'm perfectly okay with that. It was a story of grief and loss and re discovering yourself. It's about forgiveness.

- the events took place over 3 days, and instalove isn't my fav trope ... 3 days just felt a bit rushed.

What a debut! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
In this contemporary romance, Georgia is headed back to Sullivan Island, a place she swore she’d never return to after her estranged father passes. There she finds Callahan Thomas, a blast from her past who is the book man of our dreams! 😍
This book had so much more depth than most romances. It was both heartwarming and heartbreaking. The writing truly made you feel like you were Georgia. Her character was so well developed and I felt like I could be her friend.
This one was hard to put down! As someone who typically gravitates toward thrillers, I was so impressed by this one! I have been a longtime follower of Bianca Miller since her teaching days and I felt like a cheerleader along the way as she wrote this. When I got the news I had received an ARC I was so thrilled.
You are going to want to get your hands on this one, available 2/29!
