I have no idea why I convince myself that I like the brothers best friend- because I don't.
However Georgie's story of wanting to take control of her life and redo her image to her town and family were my favorite parts, if this weren't a romance I would've loved more about Georgie's family and business and friendships (I don't think she has friends other than her sister... and her sisters friend??)

A mostly solid, well-written romance novel. Travis has returned to his hometown after suffering a career-ending shoulder injury. Georgette has had a crush on him since high school, and manages to convince Travis that he shouldn't wallow in his pain. Travis ends up working with Georgette's brother flipping houses, and realizes that everyone still sees her as Stephen's little sister; it doesn't help that she's a birthday party clown. When a chance appears for Travis to get a job where he gets to go to the ballpark everyday, he's happy. Except he has to clean up his image. Enter a fake-dating trope. And we all know how that trope ends.
While I enjoyed the book, I had to take points off because the dirty talk dialogue was jarring in the scenes, as well as emphasizing Georgette's age and inexperience in a remarkably unsexy way.
