Apparently 2024 is my year of Tessa Bailey… I love it because I get lost in the steamy, entertaining, sometimes a little cringy predictable love stories. This one was no exception, I cringed a little (not a fan of the pet name “baby girl”) and the end was a bit ridiculous but mostly I ate it up and was entertained from start to finish.

I don't know about this one to be honest.. the story is a bit weird. Clowns, contractors and some kind of famous dude. The characters started off on a bit of an odd note. Some kind of fake dating thing to get the tabloids guessing.
Gotta give it to you.. Travis is one horny bastard. And his mouth has said some dirty things. Very dirty things.

Probably my least favourite Tessa Bailey book so far. I liked Georgie somewhat and I liked Travis, and I liked them together for the most part. Some of the dialogue (mostly Georgie’s) was a bit lame and cringey at times. I could not stand the “baby girl” endearment Travis called Georgie in nearly every interaction they had together. The girl group/club Georgie starts with her friends had too much time in the book overall (still unclear why this was), and I just glazed over these parts. Most importantly, I could not buy into the fact that Georgie was an actual clown as her occupation and this was just accepted by everyone. A clown? It was just so stupid.
