I loved this book so so much. Equal parts heartbreaking, beautiful, funny and edgy - it was a fantastic take on a romance novel. Totally unexpected.

This book is brilliantly written. At first I was confused on where it was going but as I continued to read, it just got better and better. A mix of family and life lessons with such a cute love story!! I LOVED IT

This book was weird which is disappointing because it could have been a lot more. The main relationship lacked any kind of spark and I didn't like their relationship. The author could have really developed a connection but Florence was consumed with her own problems and didn't really reach out to Ben WHO THOUGHT HE WAS DEAD. Like I'm sorry your dad died and your book didn't sell Florence, BUT BEN THOUGHT HE WAS FUCKING DEAD. That takes precedent over your family issues girl. For a character we were constantly told was always giving her heart away to everyone she seemed pretty selfish to me. Like Ben was the ghost yet we didn't really know anything about him and it was presumed he was there just for her. Why?! It's just odd to me that he didn't take more of a leading role in this story. He was milquetoast at best.

The premise was pretty cool, though. It just lacked any real sort of depth. It was really trying, though. Really, really trying. Instead we got millennial qUiRkY!!! All the side characters are one dimensional tropes and there was so much that didn't make sense and was stupid and annoying.

Also, for as much as smut was brought up in this you'd think we'd get some good sex scenes yet we were given NOTHING.

The twist was way too obvious for and could see coming from a mile away. I felt like there were too many ‘coincidences’ that allowed the end to tie together in a nice bow but wasn’t a satisfying read for me.

I just love the way Ashley Poston writes. I don't know what it is about the way she describes things!!! Her books are always shimmering with life and magic and honesty and I just absolutely love them. This one made me cry like 4 times. I loved it.

Ok so the continuity errors in this drove me nuts and the ending was predictable, but there is one nice tiny little twist and also the last several chapters are very heart pounding and page turning soooooo I can't be too mad. I just wish the editors had paid more attention.

And I have to say it. Taylor Swift's 'The Story of Us' is NOT a love song! It's definitely about an awkward break up. So.
