I can not believe NJ Cole has done it again. There wasn't enough book!!! I need more!! She hooked me with Midnight Caller and continues to win me over with Landslide. It was easy to fall in love with these characters and the fast paced story kept me on the edge of seat. Maxwell might seem like your typical power hungry type A personality but there is so much more under the surface.
The story kicks off with the senator opening his 35th birthday present, the 19 year old daughter of his campaign manager. From that point on the story never slows down!! NJ makes great use of her characters and the positions she puts them in. You have all the conflict you would expect from this kind of situation as well as a few things you don't see coming.
Mackenzie really pulls at your heart strings between the infatuation and the naive vulnerablity it's sometimes hard to love Max but the beauty of NJ's writing is that even when you want to hate someone you can't!!
The refreshing storyline kept me reading well into the night. I will admit that there were a few scenes that made me feel a touch dirty but the amazing writing and the trust NJ Cole demands from you pulls you right past those few moments. I loved the original plot twists and the slight twist that made this book so different. She doesn't disappoint. I can't wait for her next book!!!!

Landslide
I really enjoyed reading this book.
It featured some of my favourite tropes - age gap, dads best friend, Daddy kink with a little bit of age play (only so far as dressing up).
Max is the senator and a known womaniser with particular tastes. He’s never had a relationship and never wanted one. Kenzie is his best friends daughter, has a huge crush on Max and a very naughty side too. Deciding to ‘gift’ herself to Max for his birthday what starts off as a secret naughty tryst soon leads to something more.
With spice, secrets, love and blackmail this was a wonderful book and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.

This book was SO bad, it was AWESOME! It is nothing but an over the top cheesy daddy kink smutfest of epic proportions. Sex scene after sex scene with a little plot in between. You know those totally cheesy horror movies that are just SO BAD, but you can't stop looking, and by the end you realized that loved every frigging second, ya, that would be this book!
How can you not love a book where the heroine losses her virginity to a cucumber!? That's right folks, she was deflowered by a vegetable!!
