Another quick read from the Illuminae Files. I have to say out of all three books this one was the worst. I did enjoy the banter between the teens but other than that I think the second book was far better. We are following the characters from the first two books through a battle to gain control of their planet again. If you plan on reading these books I highly suggest going with the audiobooks. They are done with an entire cast of people and sound effects are just so much better.

Probably the most beautifully written books I have ever read. The character development, conflict, relationships, emotion, story telling. All of it drew me in and made me fall in love. I laughed, I cried, I screamed, I cried some more, I cheered, I smiled. These books took me on the most incredible, breathtaking adventure. I’m just so in love.

THIS SERIES. God. Now I really can’t decide whether I love The Illuminae Files or The Aurora Cycle more, but these two can pen some damn good sci-fi novels together. Who knew that at the end we’d really be feeling for/rooting for AIDEN? Because, not me. This will definitely be a series that I go on and on about. Quick reads, action-packed, characters you really root for. I loved it all.
