5 stars without a doubt. I finished this entire book within 12 hours. I could not put it down. Every time I tried to, I picked it right back up. It consisted of such unique, fantastic world building, an entertaining magic system, and perfect pacing. Jacks himself is just so enticing. The cliffhanger at the end had me literally staring off into the distance to recollect myself. Frothing at the mouth for book 2 and rushing out to get it asap honestly. Also, “little fox” is SUCH a cute nickname. Pls.

I’ve never read a fantasy book that had me hooked from the first page, this one was able to hook me from the blurb and exceeded all my expectations !!

Que escrita ruim e meia boca, o plot é bem interessante, mas a execução foi péssima. História sem bom desenvolvimento, páginas e páginas de besteira. Personal principal sem graça, plots óbvios e repetições de ações o tempo todo. Se eu tivesse que ler o Jacks comendo uma maçã ou tendo cheiro de maçã novamente eu ia acabar descontando no meu kindle, então desisto.
