One of my favorite books I read this year. I had rented it from the library and later purchased it to download and stream to listen to again and share.

This wasn’t what I expected, but I still enjoyed it. The description indicates this is a book of essays and stories, but I would classify it more as poetry. (Each “story” is a single paragraph.) At well under an hour to read, this was a quick one, but it still managed to be lyrical, insightful and rich.

Short and episodic along with the authors great voice makes for a very short audiobook that’s good for a free couple of hours to reflect on his thoughts or just listen.
