I didn’t love this book as much as I liked other Elle Kennedy books and I felt like the ending was really rushed/just cut off.

Like the books in the Off Campus series, I really enjoyed the main romance and overall story told here. I also liked the introduction of new characters, like Brenna, and more time with characters previously just mentioned, like Hunter and Hollis. It makes me curious and excited to continue this series! I love the dynamic between Summer and Fitz given how opposite they are, and the hinted attraction previously. I even liked their individual storylines, especially Summer’s as it dealt with a difficult but important topic. My only issue is that it felt like the conflict between Summer and Fitz was dragged out as Fitz would just not say anything on his feelings on multiple occasions! I get that it’s part of his character, but the way it was written and for how many times it happened, it got a bit annoying and made the book feel longer. I liked everything else though, and even how there were some loose ends that can be addressed and tied up in the rest of the series.

This book is so amazing it discusses real life situations and learning issues. I feel like Summer is misjudged in the book and is portrayed as this rich girl that doesn’t have any real life problems. Colin aka fitzy is a hockey player who also is a gamer and makes his own video games. He is portrayed as the quiet guy who would prefer to stay home and be invisible then be out partying. Summer and Colin are very opposite to each other by still feel an attraction between them. Throughout the book Colin tries to deny his attraction towards Summer but Summer makes it known to Colin about how she feels. Later through the book Colin discover that Summer has dyslexia and helps her with her work. While going on a date with another guy Summer decides that she can no longer keep avoiding Colin and end up seeing him. They are such a cute couple. Giving this book 5 out of 5 stars.
