The whole book is just a pretense for their dramatic marriage and deflowering but it was fun and cute and very what I’ve come to expect and love from this series. Not sure I can get behind anyone in a book, let alone a quasi-demon, saying the phrase “doesn’t say dick to me” or whatever. The voice this series is written in grates on me but it’s manageable and cute at times.

Juuuuuuuuuust when you think everything (or well... at least something) is going Myla's and Lincoln's way, it really really doesn't :(

In this instalment, we were mostly in Antrum and Earth with a little sprinkling of Purgatory and Heaven. Okay okay, we were all over the place.
Not that it really matters though, since everything was well described and detailed, I could just relax and fully focus on the story.

Character development was good. By now Myla and Lincoln know each other pretty well and it shows, making for some 'Aww, how cute' moments. Though it really does help when you need to have a plan for kicking ass and can't really discuss it out in the open. You'd be surprised how often that seems to happen.
Acca is of course up to something again, and we finally get some disclosure what deal he made with Armageddon (the idiot).

Pacing and flow were great! There is a lot of action going on, but it doesn't feel 'too much', a very good balance between everything that's going on and conversation to get the story moving forward.

The book itself was well written with no (noticeable) errors.

All in all, another great instalment in the series! I can't wait to start Thrax :D

Better Than Ever

I first read Angelbound and Scala a few years ago, and at the time I didn’t know there were going to be more. Imagine my surprise and delight when I found this third book! It was so, so amazing. Myla and Lincoln were better than ever, and wonderfully in love. The plot line was great, and I just really enjoyed reading this book. It’s laugh out loud funny and smile until your cheeks ache beautiful. All around awesome, basically. 5 stars!
