The game is only for immortals and there is only one rule: don't lose.

Masters of Death is a humorous story about a collection of creatures engaged in a game with Death. There are angels, reapers, demigods, vampires, ghosts, and even Death's godchild. Each enters the game with different motivations, and that backstory weaves in and out of the main timeline.

The writing style is fun and fresh, but the story did get bogged down in the middle.
