Poorly written, unoriginal, and boring. Full of stereotypes and the only two female characters were solely there to serve as love interests for the mediocre male main character. No wonder it took me 5 months to slog through 160 pages. Won't be continuing the series.
Graphic: Classism, Death of parent, Gun violence, Drug use, Death, Injury/Injury detail, Blood, Violence, Drug abuse, Cursing, Fire/Fire injury, Homophobia, and Murder

The TV show is actually a really direct adaptation of the comic book, which surprised me a lot. I really don't have any strong feelings about this but definitely prefer the TV show. I'm sure for people who have some nostalgia for the 80s this would be much more impactful.
