This book was nothing but absolute sweetness from beginning to end. Addison and Grady suffered through the same tragedy, but the way they chose to cope couldn’t be more different. Grady chose to close himself off and think of nothing but raising his son. Addison lived that way for a while, but now she’s ready to actually feel again and wants a family for her and her daughter.

After multiple awful dates and non-stop badgering by his siblings, Addy and Grady decide to fake date to get everyone off their backs, along with an investment for Grady and wedding date for Addison. These two and both their kids fit together so seamlessly and the whole story was ADORABLE. You’ll be screaming at Grady to get his head out of the ground all while blushing at his dirty mouth

This is the first book that I have read where they are both widows and single parents. I really like Corinne’s take on it and especially loved Addy’s fun personality along with Grady’s. The friendship that blossomed along  with their “fake relationship” was their kids, Elodie and Jett, absolutely adorable! I love this series and can’t wait to read more about the Whitlock family.

Ahhh oh my goodness this book was so freaking good!!! I read it in one day and was truly obsesses. I felt as though I was inside the book the whole time as a fly on the wall and it was the best thing ever. Grady and Addison are so perfect for each other and it was so obvious. Not only since they share similar pasts but because of who they are as people. They both are so loving and supportive of everyone around them but especially to each other and each other’s kids. I have never read a book where both mcs were single parents so it was so cool to see Grady and Addison navigate this new life that not only impacts them but the kids too. I absolutely loved the kids!! Jett and Elodie were such sweethearts and comedic reliefs in the book. They made me laugh so much and they are so precious, just like Grady and Addison’s love. Grady and Addy are everything for each other and it’s the best thing. I am so happy they both got the happy ending the deserved, especially after what they have been through. The depth both of these characters had was great and I also loved all of the family vibes that small towns have. The community was so supportive, albeit very noisy but the support of Grady and Addison from everyone was the cherry on top.
