Started great. The concept was cool was very interesting to me. Josi was a bit annoying. Everytime the nickname Bish was used I swore in my head ...like bish please lol its whe the present portion of the book happened that I had issues, I may have no morals when it's dark romance but my one taboo item was there and I just ...I hated every second of the rest of the book.

First up, this cover is GORGEOUS. I love it!

Lordy, this book (lol)...This type of super dark "murderotica" is SO right up my alley. Strangely enough, if this were a movie, I would have been hiding under my covers. Go figure...(lol) I've been a fan of K Larsen for a while now, and I recently had the please of reading a short novella by Yolanda Olson (which I enjoyed a lot), so I knew going into this one I was in for one twisted and gory read...

And that is pretty much exactly what I got! I'll also just say it is a good thing I can't eat solid foods at the moment because I am not sure I could look at a steak right now let alone eat one. (lol) The writing was amazing. It was a relatively short book, so the story moved at a perfect pace. The plot was like a sexy horror movie. Engaging. Super dark. Super twisted. Super gross. The sex was smokin' hot and plentiful, and I loved both the main characters. Not a whole lot left to say about it. If you are a fan of dark, then this book will be right up your alley as well!

So. Well...umm what did I think about Abattoir? It's incredibly well written, I couldn't tell the difference between which writer took whichever chapter, both Josi and Bishop were lovely to each other and I read a significant part of the book hiding behind my hands and making strange noises. If you are going to read this book then I suggest going in blind and really just immerse yourself in all the whatthefuckery!

I went into this book completely blind and oh shit, it did not disappoint!

I first heard of this book through one of the groups I'm in, I can't remember if it was K Webster or Natalie Bennett, probably both! Haha. I signed up for the ARC so damn fast on their recommendation. I couldn't wait to read this...

There is so much about this book that is fantastic! It's dark and gritty, it's romantic, it's so twisted, and it's just what I needed! Bishop and Josi are amazing characters, ones I would love to read more about. And the authors, Larsen and Olson, created a flawless story - written to perfection.

Abattoir is a super intriguing read. It's best to go in not knowing a damn thing, don't even read the synopsis. Trust me. If you love dark reads, this is one to add to your TBR!
