This was not as good as book one to me, but I still really loved it. This book is one big miscommunication trope, so be warned. But that is almost the DNA of the MMC. Everyone is shocked that the FMC doesn’t trust them, when they all lie and omit things from her. While the twist wasn’t shocking to me I also didn’t necessarily see it coming. I’m definitely going to read book three tomorrow.

Amazing follow up to the first book. More intertwined storylines from the Darkness Series. Did not see the plot twist coming. Cannot wait to start the next one!
