Tessa just pissed me off this whole book.
Many things can be said about this one but the highlight is “How are you feeling, Tessa?”, “Are you ok, Tessa?” times 200.
Plot was good, story was inviting, real page turner at least.

I was disappointed by this and the 1st book because it has potential. But it is so repetitive with the exact same situations/conversations between all the same characters. The mfc continuously does the same things / says the same things, and then act surprised when everyone else responds the same way again and again. I wonder how many times "...discuss this later", ""You didn't think this was important to tell me this / share this with me". Other annoying things include - "Strong" fmc who literally always needs rescued. - No character growth. - Mfc gets upset when other people figure out obvious things about herself that she should be able to figure out and don't tell her. - Weird nicknames everyone gives to the women throughout the books that no one cares or comments on.
There are other things that are annoying throughout the series but i will stop ranting now.

Took me forever to get through. It’s like the fmc is blind and the mmc is deaf. The mmc is doing all of these things for her, and he even tells her how he feels… and she’s like “he wants me for my powers” 😀. She tells him not to keep secrets and to just be honest, and he’s like “I’m gonna keep everything to myself to keep her safe” 😀. This book made me won’t to drown myself in a lake of piranhas. I’m only reading this book in the hopes that everyone dies but Luka. Fingers crossed 🤞🏼.
