I’ve been waffling between a 4⭐️ and a 5⭐️ for this one. It was better than A River Enchanted (which I also liked). This book had more of the page-turning excitement that I want in a fantasy.

Jack and Adaira’s relationship was so sweet. This book is filled with great sweep-you-off-your-feet lines, which I personally eat up. I think this book would’ve been put over the top if the rivals arc of their rivals-to-lovers storyline had been more emphasized in A River Enchanted. I guess that’s more of a critique of the first book in the series because I wouldn’t have changed a thing about A Fire Endless. Regardless, I would definitely give this duology a read if you are looking for a cozy romantasy.

Me gustó muchísimo más que el primer libro. Me tuvo muy muy nerviosa porque acá llegué a encariñarme con los personajes mucho más que en el primer libro.

I enjoyed the first book but I‘ve gotten kinda bored with the musical main concept of the duology and I have better books I could be reading instead…
