This is an excellent book by prominent community organizers Kelly Hayes and Mariame Kaba. It's not necessarily a how-to book, but it is a perfect thing to read if you've been inspired by your first big protest and you want to know what to do next. It's a invitation to hope and collectivity against individuality and numbness due to the enormity of the injustices.

This book and everything in it…thoughts, experiences, tactics, hopes, practicality, and emotion…is everything I and so many of my comrades need right now. It should be standard reading that holds a place on the shelf of anyone with even a slight bit of empathy toward themselves and a wish to take action in service to others. This book speaks of movements rather than heroes.

A fantastic book to inspire hope and to add fuel to one's fire for activism. If one is already advanced in years in activism spaces this likely wouldn't be the book for you. The latter quarter of the book dragged a little for me but the beginning 60% was fantastic.
