bocasbri's review

this is a strong non-fiction book on running political movements. i do not have any intention on running them myself, so it was not the most applicable to me. however, it was a good insight into what people have to consider and things that they tend to get hung up on. there is a lot of reference to "current" (within the 2000s to now) events. i do think that the authors did a decent job at describing the context around them for you to understand their point. but there are definitely times that i think the authors assumed a certain level of knowledge that the reader may or may not have.

A popular quote from Rogue One/Andor is “Rebellions are built on hope,” but that can pair well with one of the key reminders from this book, that hope is an active practice.
