We would all (with the exception of a tiny handful of the world’s wealthiest men) benefit from the overthrow of cis-het patriarchy. And we’d all benefit from the abolition of White supremely too.
This book leaves me feeling hope that we as individuals can make a difference, especially when we work with others towards our shared aims.

The audiobook I got from Hoopla is clearly a computerized voice, the cadence, pacing, and of tone of the narrator is like listening to a screen reader. Which is odd, since the narrator listed is so well respected.
The content of the book is solid, great perspective on how to make revolution and repair work sustainable.

consider me radicalized!!!
It felt a bit less in-depth than We Do This 'til We Free Us, but still lots of good lessons & takeaways. "Sloganizing is not organizing" is 10/10
There's something about the way that Kaba describes some of the cases she has been involved with to support incarcerated folks that really hits me. Nearly every time I read of a case she describes, it catches in my throat and makes me a bit teary. idk, much to explore
