Read (savored, inhaled) this a long time ago and realized only lately that I still think about it. We are lucky to have access, as it was translated into English. This is the sort of book that helped me realize the *best* people are those who care about such small things as flowers and such and then also health of the environment. This includes kindness and generosity. A few years after reading and being deeply inspired by this (along with some incredibly amazing colleagues) I was brave enough to study Philosophy (a mere B.A. that, nonetheless, took all my effort).

I had forgotten the title but not the author's name. A few clicky-click key taps and here we are, like finding an old friend. Mr. Naess has since passed; his writing remains.
