Ferdinand von Schirach verwandelt historische und rechtsgeschichtliche Ereignisse in eine Novelle, deren Twist einem noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben wird. Die Charaktere eher nicht, diese waren hier nur Mittel zum Zweck und dementsprechend oberflächlich.
