In my opinion, The Maze Runner will forever be one of the best dystopian book series of all time - right up there with The Hunger Games and Divergent (the first book only! Not the other two:).
This book was one of the first dystopian/science fiction books I've ever read, and I always find myself coming back to reread it whenever I'm in a reading slump.
The Maze Runner is a quick, fast paced read that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The twists and turns are hard to rival, and the characters are too. All of the main characters are extremely complex and there is genuinely no book that has a stronger 'found family' trope.
James Dashner's The Maze Runner was a truly addicting and unforgettable read, and is perfect for anyone looking to get into dystopian books, who wants a fast paced read, or who needs to get out of a reading slump.

I enjoyed this book but it wasn't great. Would have given 3.5 stars if allowed. An easy read with lots of action. Great for the beach. :)

Derivitive of The Hunger Games. Starts fairly slowly, but is quite engaging by the end.
