2.8 Listened on audio. I'm liking these less and less. But they do serve an entertaining purpose. I'm intrigued by story... but it isn't executed well. I'm interested in how each book tells a story from a different perspective and trait... but it isn't executed well. The spicy scenes can be good but some of them give me the ick.
this is probably my second favorite in the series after neon gods! i LOVE sexy politics and messy queer love…. rectangles? well it’s really more like a triangle with another line branching off. i feel like these characters had a bit more personality than the mc’s of the 2nd-4th books in this series. i’m also glad to FINALLY have a sapphic pairing.

I generally love the Dark Olympus series but this one was less of a favourite than the others. Still well written.

Cruel Seduction is book 5 in the Dark Olympus series. It took me a minute to get my thoughts together for this ALC. Katee Roberts always delivers a great story with lots of spice, steamy scenes, and drama! The drama is always always, but for some reason, this book is not my favorite. It just had too many POV, 4 actually, and I just couldn't keep up with WHO IS WHO now. But normally, when I listen to audiobooks, I read the book at the same time. So hey, it's could be just me. This will be released on August 8!

This is the best book in the series, i love the hate sex trope so i was bound to love this one.
When i reread it i loved it even more.

At first, I did not like this as much as some of the others in this series. But, it hit a certain point right before halfway through and my mouth dropped open. I could not stop and put it down. The way I did not expect some of the twists to happen was fun and I loved being proved wrong. This was so good!
