The last 100 pages of the book made it worthwhile. Not my favorite in the series. The characters needed more fleshing out in the beginning before skipping into the spice.

I really enjoyed this book. Aphrodite married Hephaestus to protect Olympus. Then she ends up seducing Pandora and he seduces Adonis. I think the fact that the characters all came around to each other and the overarching mystery of who is threatening Olympus.

So thoughts... it was entertaining, to say the least. I think the romance hit less in this book than it did in others. The Olympus drama and high stakes were definitely what I enjoyed most about this particular book in the series. I love Aphrodite but I feel like we could've gotten more from her and Hephasteus. Tbh, this book was not what I was expecting and I'm a little sad about it but it was still a fun read which is exactly what I came to this series for.
