Super cute read! It was an inspiring book on self-love and the power of self-worth, but it just wasn't overly memorable

Could this be considered an enemies-to-lovers story?  It certainly starts out as one, but once the tension builds, it quickly turns into something more intriguing.  Crystal and Scott discover their world is about to get smaller when they find out their grandparents are getting married.  Being forced to be around each other more, they quickly discover they are less enemies and more than interested in becoming more.  There were a few parts of the story that were just okay, didn't really *WOW* me like I think the author was going for, but overall it was a decent story. It's a good palette cleanser if you need one.

This was a fun read! The chemistry between the two main characters is great and the spice is hot. Crystal made me want to shake her by the shoulders sometimes but I think that’s the point lol. The side plot with the grandparents seemed kind of irrelevant and I hate the term “curvy” for fat people (myself included) but overall I’d recommend this book.

This was a fun read that had an interesting take on fitness influencers
I haven't read a book like this before which is fun and a light read after a couple more serious books beforehand.

Honestly so many feelings.
Crystal annoyed me so much at first tbh. But I think that’s bc I would also jump to the same conclusions if I was a gym-regular. Scott does seem like an adorable golden retriever of a book boyfriend, and Crystal didn’t even give him a first chance or benefit of doubt.

Lea is able to put comedy and spice into a much deeper story that explores self love, self acceptance and respect, family relationships and boundaries, as well as the importance of leaning on your people when you need them. There is a reason you consider them your people. Don’t forget that.

“Heart more swollen than a steroid-bro’s biceps…”

I just don’t get the romance between Crystal and Scott?

Why is he being a straight up dick to her and then making her feel bad that she called him out on acting like a cave man?

And has the boy got something in his eye????? He is winking every other page and making jokes about her lactose intolerance? And “only he can make an indigestion joke remotely charming.” Is that charming? Please tell me how that is charming.

It feels like the author is just trying to make every single comment and joke and look into something that is swoon worthy when it isn’t.

Sorry but this is a no from me
