Lukewarm feelings here. However, what I needed was to scrub the trauma of the last book I read from my mind. And this fluff romcom did exactly that.

Honestly, don’t read this book when there’s so many other better romances out there!! Mild spoilers.
Scott, the main love interest, is basically a hunky cardboard cutout. Every. Single. Time. He’s described, is all about his green eyes and muscles. Honestly, he could be the first character played by a robot and it would be fairly true to the hook.
And Chrystal, the main character, is INSUFFERABLE. Like, okay, I knew going into this that she was a fitness influencer, but was the author also paid to promote Lululemon and Lizzo??? Because they’re alllllllllll over this book. Plus she doesn’t have like anything going on besides being an influencer. It gets boring really quickly.
This wasn’t enemies to lovers. I don’t think a book can be called enemies to lovers if they stop being enemies at like 30% in and she’s been talking about how hot he is the whole times. And the 80% breakup, which is basically required in all romances, is because SHE GOT UPSET OVER TROLLS ONLINE. WHICH SHE HAS TO DEAL WITH ALL THE TIME ANYWAY. And she’s needs a break to heal, but doesn’t heal until getting a new client? IDK, she acted like a brat.
Long story short, skip this, read something better.
