Eve is a tried and true bad azz and getting her story was a treat. It was almost ridiculously long, but I appreciate the author taking the time to really flesh out Eve's arc, and to develop the individual pack bonds. I found the villain choice fresh and interesting, but the confrontation a bit anticlimactic.

While I love big ensembles and was super excited to read a polycule ABO book, everything seemed super rushed.
I think the author did a great job of differentiating the characters and everyone's interactions felt pretty practical and fun. But I would have enjoyed more down time between the plot points to get to know the characters a bit more.
I am coming into this series without reading any of the precursors, and I liked the writing style, so I will be reading the others and hope to get more background there!

I really do love OV and it's nice to have a book written from the perspective of an alpha as opposed to the often favoured omega.
Eve is wonderful. I love her bonds with all the pack and she's capable. Sometimes it can get boring waiting for an FMC to be saved by a MC and so it was refreshing to have her be able to take the lead.
It's not my favourite OV or favourite of Kathryn Moon's books. She really hit it out the park with Lola so it's hard for following books to compete. I wouldn't read this book if you're chasing a Lola high. This book misses a bit with the romance which makes sense for the story but it's not got as good warm fuzzies.

In a previous review of a book in this series I had said I wanted an Eve book. Holy wow, this was so much better than I expected!!! All the characters are captivating in their own ways and I love a dominant woman. Crossing my fingers for lots more in this bookverse.
