3.5 stars but closer to 4 stars than 3.
I really liked this book. It’s well written ans i felt like the MC were as fleshed out as possible. The spice was absolutely there. I liked all the MC, Rory was my favorite alpha. I wish there was a beta in the pack for him bc i think having 5 members makes it off balance. Someone is alone and more than likely it’s Rory :/. The reason why i didn’t give this four stars is because the side plot was boring to me. I just didn’t care lol.
I will keep reading from this author, esp her abo

"You will be a great loss. You were one of our best assets."
I blinked at the open phone and then smiled.
"I will be your greatest regret," I promised.
It’s fair to say that I didn’t have any real expectations before starting this book; not only was this my first time reading a book by Kathryn Moon, but this was also my first dive into the [b: Sweet Omegaverse]. I’m pretty sure that if the opposite was true, any expectations I had would have been blown away no matter how high they’d been. That’s how amazing this book was.
Highlights:
➸ Eve is hands down one of my all time favorite FMC’s. Ruthless, deadly, intelligent, dominant, and just an overall kickass alpha-female. Her character development is a dichotomy, subtle yet dramatic.
“Fuck. That woman was my type—fierce, confident, aggressive, sexual. She also happened to be morally bankrupt, possibly insane, and with a deep loathing of alphas.”
➸ Adam & Eve—male-omega-female-alpha, older-woman-younger-man, dominant-heroine-submissive-hero. I loved how Adam (1 of 4 MMCs) became a puppy dog for Eve’s attention and affection. It was adorable.
➸ Eve wasn’t made submissive to Rory, Jamie, and Garrett (the other three MMCs) despite them also being Alphas.
"She wants to wheedle us into your pack. Do you want Eve to be pack?"
Garrett let out a burst of laughter. "Do I want a lawless feral hitwoman alpha to be my packmate?"
"Well, when you put it like that…"
➸ 95% of the time I grow bored with on-page sex scenes and feel the urge to skim. That wasn’t the case for this book despite the fact that the steam level was “explicit and plentiful”.

Another great addition to the sweetverse
This one was a bit different with a female Aloha assassin as the MC. Eve was a little hard to like in the beginning. I mean she was basically a grade A jerk but if I'm honest it makes perfect sense. The Alpha is a good blooded assassin, she isn't meant to be warm and fuzzy. I will say though that her character development was great. No she doesn't just become warm and fuzzy but she does that out. Adam is the perfect omega for her and somehow they manage to blend in with the rest of the pack, Jamie, Garrett and Rory. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to more in this sweetverse.

I don’t know what it is about Kathryn Moon, her writing and her stories always grab me and I can never put them down. This book was no different. I absolutely loved reading the different than normal omegaverse books dynamics with having a very strong female alpha bonding with a male omega and then meeting a pack who understands her.
Eve was very closed off at times but she showed she cared in different ways, a lot of times through her actions (even if they were confusing or not exactly what was expected). I like seeing her begin to open up as the book went on and seeing her dynamics within the group change while still being herself. She did have that sarcastic, kind of deadpan or snarky humor when she did joke and it was pretty funny. Her and Adam were very opposite, yet the same in someways and I think they matched well together.
Upon bringing in the men I think they all contributed something different in the pack for both Adam and Eve. I’m not sure how I felt about Garrett, I think he was good for Adam but he wasn’t really my favorite in the pack. I think he worked well for the dynamic but, meh. I did like the few interactions with them but I found the others more interesting.
I would have loved to dive a bit deeper into Eve’s past, I think it would’ve been an amazing story. Maybe it’s in a novella or something later. I was waiting for the mystery to be solved at the end but it looks like we are getting another book to find out what happens with Faith and (hopefully) will get an update with this pack.
This was a very engaging standalone. It was long but I feel like I still wanted to know more. Kathryn Moon has such a way of telling stories and I can’t wait for her next release.

I think I'm just obsessed with anything that Kathryn Moon writes - especially when it comes to the Sweetverse.
While I typically prefer the standard male alphas and female omega (sorry Lola/Rake fans!), I was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved this book.
Note: You do not have to read prior books to read Bad Alpha. While it does help progress the storyline and understand underlying plots, it is not necessary.
Eve is a female alpha assassin that we meet in Lola & the Millionaires. Only this time, her hit is a male omega who is just trying to survive. Once Eve and Adam meet it's hard to walk away (and stay away :P ).
Now throw in 3 alpha males - Rory, Jamie, Garrett - who clash and meld with Eve in ways that she never expected. Can Eve find a home with 3 other alphas? Does she want to stay with and bond Adam. Well start reading Bad Alpha to find out, I promise, you won't regret it.
Thank you Kathryn Moon for providing me more Sweetverse (with a healthy dose of spice!) and allowing me to read it before its released. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I read this book more than 6 months ago and just realized they are Adam + Eve and she takes a bite out of "Forbidden fruit" aka HIM
